Redemption price
Price at which a fund company redeems units of an open-ended fund.
The redemption price is generally based on net asset value per unit and is determined at set valuation times. It differs from an ETF’s intraday exchange price. Investors in open-ended funds should also know cut-off times, possible redemption restrictions and fees.
