Over 200 posts on this blog

TradingForFuture.com has reached another milestone that we almost overlooked: since the start of this blog in 2021, more than 200 articles have gone online, all of which revolved around the topics of retirement provision, shares and ETFs as well as cryptocurrencies, but also covered political topics. On average, one article was published per week. We currently publish a new article every Sunday at 09:00.

A broad range of topics

Recently, the topic area has developed strongly in the direction of Bitcoin. In a three-part series of articles, we not only dispelled widespread myths and misconceptions about the most important cryptocurrency, but also explained how to use a hardware wallet and showed how to set up a full node or operate a low-cost miner to actively participate in the network outside of investments. We also presented Strike.me, a great alternative to PayPal, and reported on the first time the magic 100,000 us-dollar mark was reached – a threshold that also plays an important role in traditional investments.

Of course, we also covered the topic of trading, explaining why most traders fail during their careers and the importance of a trading journal. We also presented Pro-Trading, a good way to get started in the futures markets even without equity.

We reported on new cashback payment cards and campaigns and gave an insight into our own portfolio. We also talked about the value of liberalism, showed that profits and dividends are already taxed in the same way as conventional earned income and calculated whether work is still worthwhile compared to the citizen’s income. The most important financial changes for the year 2025 were also discussed, as were a number of motivational articles on the topics of personal responsibility, positive perseverance and the impact of an additional mini-job on your savings rate.

In short: TradingForFuture.com covered a very broad range of topics.

More readers, less sales

This is confirmed by our readership figures, which have recently risen significantly. According to internal server statistics, this blog reaches between 6,000 and 10,000 readers per month. At the start of the website, there were just 1,000 monthly readers. We now deliver around 20 GB of data per calendar month. The majority comes from Germany by a wide margin. Then comes the USA. No wonder – because we have also been available in English for about a year now.

However, we have not really been able to monetize this website so far. On the contrary: revenue from advertising has recently declined significantly and is well below one euro per day. In contrast, we have not yet been able to monetize the .com domain at all. On the other hand, we are generating stable revenues through affiliate marketing, for example when readers buy something from Amazon* or open a securities account via our links.

The operation of these sites therefore remains a hobby and a project close to our hearts. This will not change any time soon.
